GROOMING REPORT FOR 1/9/26
It was a good day to groom! The club’s grooming crew was at it all day today and got it all done! (Almost). Corduroy was laid on all trails except the snowshoe trail and Aspen. Classic tracks were set on all groomed trails except for Basalt and Claron. High winds caused lots of drifting, and blowing snow was already covering the grooming shortly after our pass, but the trails are in good condition and should set up nicely overnight for some good skiing over the weekend. GROOMING REPORT FOR 1/7/2026
Your volunteer CMNSC crew (Topher and Steve), along with Jess from the Forest Service, completed a successful, if abbreviated, grooming run on Tuesday, 1/6/26. For the first run of the season, and after a thorough “pre-flight” inspection of the groomer, we made slow and careful tracks across the Sage Valley snowmobile trail to Deer Hollow, checking to make sure there was sufficient snow cover across the whole route.
